Leslie Deil Biography

Leslie Deil is a multimedia artist based out of San Antonio, TX.  She has worked in many mediums throughout her career.  Her current emphasis is on linoleum cut printmaking and acrylic painting.

Leslie has been creating artwork since childhood.  She studied Studio Art at Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin.  Her sculpture, “Wind Dancer” and her linocut print series “Dirty Laundry” are is part of the Ripon College permanent collection.

Some of the themes in her art are deeply personal in nature.  She channeled the COVID 19 pandemic and health challenges into works of self expression. Leslie also finds inspiration in literature.  In addition to a degree in art, Leslie also holds a Bachelor’s in English and a Master’s in Information Science.
